Year 4 had a great day in Denmark! They took part in lots of activities to help them learn all about the Danish culture. During the day the children found a deeper connection with the much loved author Hans Christian Anderson as they discovered that he was also a paper cutting artist, which inspired the class to create an enormous collaborative snowflake.
Along with this they experienced many virtual tours around Copenhagen and explored the geography of Denmark. Immersing themselves into everything Danish, the children loved making tasty traditional treats such as their famous pastries and eating the Danish apple lattices.
